ABOUT HOSPITAL AL-SULTAN ABDULLAH UNIVERSITI TEKNOLOGI MARA

Hospital Al-Sultan Abdullah Universiti Teknologi MARA is a university hospital located in Kuala Selangor, Selangor, Malaysia. Serving as both a university hospital and a general hospital, it provides specialized medical care and serves as an alternative healthcare option for residents in Kuala Selangor, Rawang, as well as the northern regions of Klang and Shah Alam.

Construction of the hospital commenced on April 11, 2017, on an expansive site covering 18.4 hectares (45 acres) and was completed in 2020. Operational since April 5, 2021, the hospital was officially inaugurated on July 23, 2022, by the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Al-Sultan Abdullah, and was named Hospital Al-Sultan Abdullah Universiti Teknologi MARA.

Featuring a ten-story hospital building with a capacity of 400 beds, the hospital also houses 98 specialist clinics, 17 operating theaters, 17 wards, 16 dialysis machines, and educational facilities capable of accommodating up to 750 students at any given time. Services provided include emergency and trauma care, internal medicine, cardiology, general and reconstructive surgery, obstetrics, pediatrics, oncology, geriatrics, mental health, rehabilitation, and dialysis. As a founding member of the Consortium of Public University Hospitals in Malaysia (KHUAM), the hospital collaborates with four other university hospitals within the consortium to enhance healthcare services and research initiatives.
